I was born in the eighties. I was a mad fan of Rainbow Brite, My Little Pony, and had a favorite color of hot pink. So now that neon colors seem to be the new trend in scrapbooking, my heart is full!
Hero Arts has released NEON ink pads in orange, yellow, and yes, my old love of hot pink. I had to get my hands on these and create a card that would make the 1980's proud! I used PPRS Tree Heart as well as Hibiscus 2 for my sentiment. Aren't these colors fun?
That's my share for today! I hope to create some more fun cards using these bright, bold colors! Thanks for stopping by!

It's Monday morning...
...and time for another Prickley Pear project share.
My card today features the Clearly Beautiful Dragonflies clear stamp set. I chose the sentiment, "You make me smile everyday", stamped it on PPRS Scalloped Circle Die and accented it with some Studio Calico wood veneer pieces.
My banner pieces were hand cut from Basic Grey patterned papers. I outlined the card and banners with a Zig pen.
For more design team inspiration, be sure to check out the PPRS blog for some super cute project shares! Thanks for taking a peek! Have a great week!

PPRS Christmas in July
Yes, I know. Independence Day has not even been over with for a month yet, and yep, I'm already thinking Christmas. Since Arizonans tend to take on 110+ degree days in the summer, I yearn for cooler temps and lower electricity bills. This is what inspired me to bust out my Christmas Prickley Pear Stamps. While it may not make the weather cooler, it sure did take my mind off of the extreme temps for awhile!
For this card, I used a red rubber stamp, Evergreen with Star, as well as the sentiment from the Ornament Set 2 clear stamp set. The tree image was colored with Copics and the sentiment was stamped on a McGill file tab punchout. I used some Twinery twine in Maraschino and topped it off with a little bow embellie from Recollections.
That's my little share for today! Be sure to stop by the PPRS blog for some more amazing inspiration. Thanks so much for taking a peek!

PPRS Monday Project Share-Vintage Trains ATC
I am a person that super loves vintage anything. When Nicole sent me the Vintage Train ATC red rubber stamp from PPRS new release, I could not wait to give it some fresh ink. I wanted to incorporate travel-inspired papers in my card. However, I do not travel much. Therefore, my "travel" stash is nonexistent. However, the fact that we recently returned from our trip made me go to our local Big Lots and I found a stack of papers by a paper company called Momenta. We had bought the girls disposable cameras so that they were able to take photos on our trip. Therefore, I just had to buy these papers so that they can scrapbook their adventures. I found this to be the perfect time to snag some scraps and incorporate them into my own card.
That's my share for today! I'm off to go put my blog post together to share the photos of our amazing trip and all of the gorgeous sights we saw! Have a splendid week!!
I absolutely {heart} that image!! Aside from the Vintage Train ATC stamp, I also used the "Hello" sentiment found in the "Hibiscus 2" clear stamp set.

PPRS Monday Share and ROAD TRIP!!!
Hey all! As you read this, my family is headed on a road trip across the beautiful state of Arizona in order to see some of the natural wonders our state has to offer. Today, we are headed to Bearizona, a wildlife park where visitors can drive through and see many wild creatures in the comfort and safety of their own vehicles including elk, bears, bison, wolves, etc. Next, we are heading north up to the Grand Canyon. I have been there as a child, but my children have yet to experience it. We will also visit Four Corners, Meteor Crater, and the Petrified Forest. I will definitely have to share photos!!!
Today I have a cute card to share featuring stamps from PPRS newest release, Flower Cluster and Best Mom. I used Prima's Nature's Garden as my patterned papers of choice.

PPRS Project Shares
Hey everyone! It's been some time since I have been able to post. For some reason, Blogger just inadvertently stopped working on my computer. I would type up my post and it refused to save it. I would type up the post on the day that I wanted to post it and it would refuse to publish it. I have cleared my cookies, rebooted my computer, and finally became so frustrated, I asked my handy dandy boyfriend for help. And voila, it is finally working! So super excited!!!
So, now that I have Blogger up and running again, I want to share a couple of projects with you since I haven't been able to share them for the past few weeks.
So, now that I have Blogger up and running again, I want to share a couple of projects with you since I haven't been able to share them for the past few weeks.
First up is this vintage-inspired card using Sewing Ad and a newly released red rubber stamp called 5 Vintage Ladies. I thought these two images paired really well together. Do you see that metal flower? I made that flower using Pepsi cans and a small silver bead for the center. Came out pretty cute, huh? The papers used were from Tim Holtz' Crowded Attic paper pad.
Next up is a tag I made using mixed media. Do you know that stuff they sell in the craft store called Snow-Tex? It's used to make realistic looking snow on craft projects. Well, I pulled my jar out and decided I wanted to add some texture to my project. I used some of the Snow-Tex mixed with some Lindy's Stamp Gang Magical Micas in order to color it. It was really fun and looks really neat, as well!
To give it some even more texture, I sprayed over the Snow-Tex with some Goosebumps Texture Spray. LOVE the result! This tag features stamps from the Hibiscus 2 stamp set (which I clearly can not get enough of) and the Sunflowers and Mini Hibiscus.
Well, that's it for today. For some more PPRS inspiration, please be sure to stop by the PPRS blog to see the other gorgeous creations that have been created to share with you. Thanks so much for stopping by!

PPRS Thinking of You
Good morning, friends! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Today, I have a super fun project to share with you that uses the newly released Hibiscus 2 clear stamp set, along witht the Hibiscus Flower and Leaf coordinating die. I wanted to use some off-the-wall papers that you wouldn't think would necessarily coordinate with flowers. I used some Basic Grey papers from the older "Life of the Party" collection. Let me tell you, it was definitely fun to do something a little "different".
Well, that's all for today. Time for you to skedaddle on over to the PPRS blog to see what the other ladies have created.

No Journey
Welcome to another beautiful Design Team Monday for Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps. Today's project features the sentiment stamp Find What You Seek available at the PPRS web store. This card was created for a graduate and I tried to keep it looking masculine...a hard feat to accomplish in my book (since I have 5 girls, and 0 boys)!

PPRS Monday
Today is a gorgeous Monday in Arizona and I hope the weather is just as beautiful where you are as it is here. What I like most about Mondays is the fact that I get to share a new project with you featuring the stamps by Prickey Pear. Today's project features two red rubber stamps, Tree Heart and The Mind Determines.
I decided to use the Tree Heart stamp to make my own background paper, stamping it randomly using some brown ink on kraft paper. Looks pretty neat, huh?
That's all I have to share today. Be sure to stop by the PPRS blog for some more inspiration.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

A Little Computer Illiterate on this PPRS Design Team Monday...
So, I am NOT liking the new Blogger. Just when I get accustomed to the LAST changes Blogger made, they go and switch it all around on me again! Now, normally I don't mind change. I can navigate around a website easy peasy. Not today. Today, I have the impatience of a five year old at an ice cream shop. I am not digging it.
Ok, let's put all the griping aside and get on with today's pretty. Today, I want to share with you a card I made using PPRS Symphony red rubber stamp. I love this stamp, because being a nature girl at heart, and always out and about at the lake or in the woods, I can definitely relate to listening to the songs of nature. It truly is peaceful and reminds me that even among the hustle and bustle of everyday life, I should always take the time to just listen...
Thanks for stopping by my little corner of blogland today! Hope you will take the time to stop by the PPRS blog for some more amazing DT inspiration by some of the most talented ladies I know.
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Symphony (PPRS)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko), Walnut Stain (Ranger)

PPRS What a Hoot!!
Hello! I hope everyone had a fantastic Easter weekend! My kids had a wonderful time receiving surprises from the Easter Bunny, as well as searching my yard and grandma's yard for treat-filled eggs!
It is Monday again and time for another PPRS Design Team project share! I am totally addicted to Crate Paper's old Farmhouse line and yet again, I used it for my card. I just loved how the floral prints fit with the cute Mini Owls Clear Stamp Set. This set is totally adorable, as you will see! I love how you can mix and match the owls' wings with the different owl images.
All images were colored with Copic Markers. The owls were stamped on white cardstock, fussy cut, and then pop-dotted onto the tree. The edges were all inked with my fave TH Distress ink, Walnut Stain.
That's it for today! Please be sure to stop by the PPRS blog to get inspired by all the creations the DT has created just for you! Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

PPRS Monday-Easter Fever!
Happy Monday!
I have had a superb weekend! Saturday, I attended the Copic Certification class here in Phoenix, Arizona. It was taught by the super sweet and super talented Lori Craig and Marianne Walker. For those of you who are big into Copics, Marianne is the author of the blog, I Like Markers, where you can find all kinds of helpful Copic techniques.
Now, I can safely say that I am a Copic Certified Designer! Just waiting now for my blog badge! :)
Now, on to my PPRS project share. I teamed up some kraft cardstock with some PTI patterned paper and PPRS super adorable Sm. Bunny with Egg red rubber stamp. Take a looksie.
Now you know I had to incorporate some of my newly learned Copic techniques, right? Tee hee!
Be sure to stop on by the PPRS blog for some more eye candy from the designers! Thank you so much for taking a little bit out of your day to stop by and say hi! I will talk to you soon!
Hugs,

Happy Monday morning everyone! Today is another gorgeous PPRS DT Project share and my project today features the Mini Owls Clear Stamp Set and the Sm. Otis Red Rubber Stamp.
My little Otis dude is colored using Copic markers and layered on some old DCWV Green Stack papers from my stash. Love how earthy they are! The little brad-looking dealy-bobs are I-Rock Gems in "Mirror".

PPRS Monday
Hi everyone! Sorry I have been MIA the last few weeks. I have been dealing with some medical issues that left me in pain, made me extremely tired, and left me with the inability to craft. Now, I am feeling much better and was able to work on a card this last week.
I used the Spring red rubber stamp that was just recently released over in the PPRS webshop. Super cute sentiment, isn't it?
I used Crate Paper's Farmhouse Collection, some Prima lace, and miscellaneous embellies from my stash. The perfect card for some perfect spring weather!
Make sure you stop by the PPRS blog to see what projects the DT have made for some inspiration.
As always, thanks so much for stopping by!

Prickley Pear Monday-Die Storage Share
Hello friends! Today, I want to share with you my die storage system for my Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps Coordinating Dies. It's nothing fancy, totally homemade, very inexpensive, and I love that I was able to customize it to my liking. I took some plain chipboard, covered it with Basic Grey Curio papers, bound it with my Cinch, and added some magnets. The magnets are strong enough to hold the dies on without them falling off and the dies are easy to remove when I need to use them.
I love this storage system! My dies are easily accessible, all in one place, and this book takes up minimal space. I hope I have inspired you to create your own die storage system or come up with a good way to store your own dies.
Thanks for stopping by!

Here is the front cover. I used trims I purchased from Hobby Lobby. The bloomer trim was dyed with Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst Sprays. I cut the label from the packaging that comes with the dies and attached it to a Scalloped Circle die cut.
Here is a little closeup:

Prickley Pear Monday Share!
Hello everyone!
I am super excited to share with you my card today. It was made for a special friend who is having a tough time with his marriage and I wanted to find a way to cheer him up a little and to know that he has people out there thinking of him when it seems his whole world has come crashing down.
So, that led me to come to the realization that I have to make a MASCULINE card. Ugh, the dreaded word. Like so many of you, I have a tough time making cards for males. Slim to no embellishments, earthy colors, NO FLOWERS! What's a girl to do?!
I settled on some old DCWV Green Stack papers as well as a Studio Calico wood veneer star embellishment. I used the PPRS Find What You Seek red rubber stamp.Super quick, super simple, and best of all, super masculine!

Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps Design Team Monday!
Good morning! My winter break is finally over and school starts today. This is my last semester before I earn my Associate's Degree and I am super excited to get this done! I was also excited to learn that I made President's Honors last semester and am quite proud of the goals I have set and accomplished in order to better our lives. :)
I also want to thank each and every one of you who reads my blog. Your comments and visits brighten my day and make me excited to share my projects with you.
Today, my PPRS project features a red rubber stamp called Tiger. It is super adorable paired with this Imaginisce patterned paper. I opted to not use a sentiment so that I can use this card for any purpose. I need more cards like this in my stash.
I kept it fairly simple, but I really do love how it came out.
Thanks for stopping by!
